8.1What this chapter will report

The method of the edition, the data releases it uses and every change since the last release.

It answers the frame question "in depth" in the terms of Index Measurement, so the Collection can set it beside chapter 8 of the other desks’ editions.

8.2Where the evidence sits now

The nearest material today is chapter 8 of the Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) Systems Evidence edition for MENA: systems in depth. It is a cross-reference, not a copy, and it is a draft in stewardship review.

8.3Contribute to this chapter

Measurement: the index results by country and ADM level, the data releases they come from, method changes, coverage and the gaps in the data. No index value is published until an edition is released from a governed evidence cut. Material for this chapter goes to the Index Measurement desk; what belongs to another desk is forwarded, not refused.

The Index desk reads an edition for measurement: what is measured, results by system and ADM level, coverage, sensitivity and the method that produced them.

If you supply a dataset or maintain an indicator, send the release, the licence and the indicator codes. The desk will say which values it can reproduce.
